Dan Fixes Coin-Ops recently pointed out that link pages were once a great tool for discovery:

Every site had a page that was just links to other websites that the site owner thought were cool.

Lots of external linking is a sign of a healthy web. The digital garden idea encourages a spider web of internal and external links. Much of the pages contained here exist to organize and contextualize my online reading and continous learning.
