Recipe: Kolacky
Wonderful jam filled cream cheese cookies.
- 2 sticks butter
- 8 oz package cream cheese
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbspn sugar
- 20 oz fruit preserves
NOTE: mine turn out too soft. Other recipes call for more flour. In the future, try doubling the flour.
Set butter and cream cheese out until they reach room temperature. Add sugar. Beat with mixer, gradually adding flour until a dough forms. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill one hour. Roll out on a floured board. Cut into 2" squares. Place 1/2 tspn preserve in the center and pinch two corners closed. Place on baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
