Recipe: Soboro Don

A ground chicken bowl.


  • 1 serving rice
  • 1/4 cup frozen green peas
  • 1 pinch ginger
  • 1 tspn sake
  • 1 tspn mirin
  • 1 tspn sugar
  • 2 tspn soy sauce
  • 6 oz/170g ground chicken
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 tspn sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

Combine ginger, sake, mirin, sugar and soy sauce with ground chicken. Cook on stove top until liquids evaporate. Mix eggs with sugar and salt and cook on stove top while scrambling. Steam peas. Serve eggs, chicken, peas over rice.
