Recipe: Teriyaki

Sweet soy sauce and ginger marinade for stir fry.


  • 1 lb meat (salmon, chicken, pork, beef) cut into bit sized pieces
  • 4 Tbspn soy sauce
  • 2 Tbspn warm water
  • 2 Tbspn sake
  • 1 Tbspn brown sugar
  • 1 Tbspn Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbspn white vinegar or rice vinegar
  • 2 tspn sesame seed oil
  • 1 tspn ground ginger
  • 1 tspn garlic powder
  • 1 tspn onion powder
  • 1 tspn red pepper flakes
  • 1 tspn corn starch

Combine ingredients in a bowl, whisk until sugar disolves. Pour over meat and refrigerate for two hours to overnight.
