Cabin in the great north woods

Idea: Look into land and cabins in the Great North Woods (U.P., Wisconsin, Minnesotta or Canada). Prefer land on a river, creek, or a very small lake or swamp with public land access. Must have internet access or good cell coverage with a mast. Place a hunting cabin on the land. 600-800 square feet. Perhaps a prefabricated shed. Shower/toilet, wood stove, kitchen and a single multipurpose room for sleep and work. Alternatively, a trailer pad for an RV or fifth wheel. Consider optional plumbing or generator-only electrical power. Look into existing properties and get an idea of the price range.

A spot to spend the winter months. An alternative to wintering in Alpine or a permanent move from Alpine. Perhaps snow shoeing, cross country skiing or snowmobiling into town for supplies.
